Our Doctors

Dr. Peggy Driesen has practiced in our Sioux Center location since 1995. She graduated in 1993 from the University of Houston, College of Optometry and earned her undergraduate degree from Newman University in Wichita, Kansas.  Prior to relocating to Sioux Center, Dr. Peggy practiced in the Ophthalmology Department of Irwin Army Hospital. She grew up in Dodge City, Kansas.

Dr. Scott Driesen sees patients in both the Sioux Center and Hull locations. He’s a 1992 graduate of the Southern California College of Optometry. Dr. Scott grew up on a farm south of Rock Valley and attended Dordt College. Before their move to Sioux Center, he served on active duty as the Division Optometrist for the 1st Infantry Division at Fort Riley, Kansas.

Dr. Sherri Ver Hoef also will be seeing patients in both locations.  She grew up near Middleberg and graduated, along with her husband, Dave, from Sioux Center High School.  After graduating from Morningside and the Southern California College of Optometry in 2004, she had been practicing in the Omaha area until returning home to Sioux Center in 2011.

They are all certified in the Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry, and are licensed to practice in the state of Iowa.

In addition to the optometric expertise, a friendly and enthusiastic staff of professionals stands behind this dynamic team of doctors, and is ready to make your next eye care visit a pleasant experience.
